The passionate coaches behind Kaleidoscope Martial Arts

Jun G Liew

Head Coach, Co-Founder

With over 15 years of experience in traditional Kung Fu, our head coach founded Kaleidoscope Martial Arts with a vision: to create a space where children and adults alike could discover their potential through a blend of traditional martial arts and modern fighting styles.

Beginning his martial arts journey at the age of 23, he understood firsthand the transformative power of disciplined training. This personal experience shaped a teaching philosophy centred on individual growth, positive reinforcement, and building genuine confidence.

Teaching Approach

Every person learns differently, and our coaches adapt their teaching style to meet each student where they are. Classes are structured yet engaging, challenging yet supportive. We believe in celebrating small victories while working toward larger goals.

Beyond technical skills, we prioritise character development. Students learn respect, perseverance, and self-discipline - values that serve them well beyond the training hall.

Professional Credentials

All our coaches maintain current Working with Children checks and first aid certifications. We undergo regular professional development to ensure we’re providing the best possible training for our students.

We’re not just teaching Kung Fu - we’re helping to raise the next generation of confident, capable, and compassionate individuals.

Grace Waller

Head Coach, Co-Founder

Grace has over 8 years of experience teaching children the art of kung fu and self defence. She has founded Kaleidoscope Martial Arts as a way to give back to the community and ensure kids have a safe space to learn.

Her martial arts journey began at the early age of 10 years old. Her development and understanding of martial arts over the years has developed in a way that has shaped her outlook on teaching children and what it means to be a mentor.

Teaching Approach

Grace has a true passion for working with students who need extra support. She finds that a person-centered approach is the most effective way to build trust and connect with those she teaches. To Grace, every student deserves a safe space to enjoy learning—one where flexible teaching and individualised accommodations are the standard, not the exception.
