-
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. Our classes are specifically designed for each age group with age-appropriate techniques and activities. All instructors are trained in child safety, hold current Working With Children checks, and maintain first aid certifications. We use controlled, progressive training methods and emphasise discipline and respect to prevent injuries. Classes take place on safety mats, and protective equipment is used when appropriate.
-
Your child will participate in a regular class with their age group. They'll be warmly welcomed by the instructor and introduced to basic movements and activities. Parents are welcome to watch from our viewing area. After the class, we'll have a brief chat about your child's experience and answer any questions. There's absolutely no obligation—the trial is simply an opportunity to see if Kaleidoscope is the right fit for your family.
-
For the first trial class, comfortable athletic clothing is perfect—tracksuit pants or shorts and a t-shirt. No shoes are needed as we train barefoot. The uniform is practical, easy to care for, and helps students feel part of the Kaleidoscope community.
-
After your child's trial class, if you'd like to continue, we'll help you choose the membership option that works best for your family. Enrolment takes just a few minutes and can be done on-site or online. Your child will receive their uniform and can start attending regular classes immediately. We don't require long-term contracts—we want students here because they love it, not because they're locked in.
-
We welcome all children and are experienced in adapting our teaching to meet diverse needs. Before starting, we'll have a conversation about your child's individual requirements so we can prepare appropriately. Our instructors are trained to provide modifications and additional support as needed. We maintain small class sizes to ensure individual attention, and our structured, predictable class format works well for many children who benefit from routine. We're also proud to support NDIS participants.
-
The first step is to book a free trial class. You can do this by using our online form, calling us, or sending an email. We'll find a suitable class time for your child's age group. From there, just turn up with your child in comfortable clothes, ready to have fun and learn something new!
-
Life happens! If your child misses a scheduled class, they can attend a make-up class within the next 4 weeks (subject to availability). We understand that families have busy schedules, and we work to be as flexible as possible while maintaining the structure that makes our program effective.
-
We have a structured belt progression system with regular grading opportunities. Your child will have clear goals to work toward, and gradings are a celebration of their achievements. We also provide regular feedback to parents and are always available to discuss your child's development. You'll see the progress in their confidence, focus, and attitude at home too!
